“IT’S NOT GOOD”: HUNTER BIDEN GIVES EMOTIONAL UPDATE ON FATHER JOE BIDEN’S CANCER BATTLE
Hunter Biden has given a heartbreaking update on his father, former US President Joe Biden, revealing that his cancer has spread beyond the prostate and into his bones.
Speaking in an emotional interview with BBC Newsnight, Hunter admitted that watching his 83-year-old father battle Stage IV prostate cancer has been incredibly difficult.
“The cancer has spread,” he said, explaining that it has metastasised to his bones and further. He described the illness as painful and debilitating.
Yet, according to Hunter, his father remains remarkably determined to keep going.
He said there are moments when he wishes Joe Biden would complain more, slow down and acknowledge just how difficult things are. Instead, the former president continues to get out, remain engaged and support causes that matter to him.
For Hunter, that determination speaks to something he believes has defined his father throughout his life: a deep sense of duty and love for his country.
Behind the politics, the presidency and decades of public scrutiny is now a family watching someone they love navigate a serious and incurable illness.
And perhaps one of the hardest things about loving someone who has always been strong is wishing, just occasionally, that they would allow themselves not to be.
