London-based designer Olivia Black presented her Spring/Summer 2027 collection, ‘Wish You Were Here’, on schedule during London Fashion Week on

Monday 21 September, at Andaz Liverpool Street.

Built around escapism, nostalgia and the feeling of a perfect moment you wish you could step back into, Wish You Were Here explores the warmth, imagination and magic of remembered summers.

The collection transforms personal memory into a modern, joyful and universal wardrobe, capturing the feeling of being transported to a golden summer, a place that felt free, or a moment you never wanted to end.

For SS27, Olivia Black translated this sentiment into a modern summer wardrobe of elevated tailoring, denim, floaty silhouettes, sheer layers and relaxed

occasion wear, alongside statement pieces created for real moments. The collection moves through a palette of soft blues, lime green, bright orange, coral

red, butter yellow, navy denim, pinstripe and deeper evening tones, creating a progression from daytime escape to summer night.

The collection is set against imagery of wild poppies and soft floral installations, reinforcing its central theme of memories in bloom, fleeting, beautiful and full of colour. Wish You Were Here is ultimately a celebration of life, dressing up, being

present and creating the kind of memories someone may one day wish they could return to.

While deadstock fabrics and gender fluidity remain part of Olivia Black’s wider design identity, SS27 moves across womenswear, menswear and fluid silhouettes, allowing each look to exist naturally within the collection’s overarching story. The result is a hopeful, romantic and summer-led wardrobe created around the feeling of good days, good times and being exactly where you want to be.
