OPI Sets the Tone for Spring Nails at Victoria Beckham’s Spring/Summer 2027 Show

OPI returned to the runway with Victoria Beckham for the designer’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, presented on Friday, 2 October 2026 at the historic La Conciergerie during Paris Fashion Week.
Led by Charlotte Lowe and Sammy MacDonald, OPI’s backstage team manicured 45 models ahead of the show. The team created a refined, modern nail look that complemented the collection’s exploration of freedom, movement and understated elegance.

Rather than selecting one universal shade, the OPI team chose from a curated palette of sheer neutrals to suit each model’s individual skin tone. The shades included Passion, Put It In Neutral and Baby, Take a Vow in Nail Lacquer.

Each manicure was finished with OPI Matte Top Coat, transforming the high-shine neutrals into a soft, velvety finish that echoed the collection’s delicate textures and fluid silhouettes.
“The beauty of this look lies in its simplicity. We chose sheer, timeless shades that enhanced each model’s natural skin tone, then added a matte top coat to create a finish that felt understated, sophisticated and completely in harmony with the collection.”
- Charlotte Lowe, Education Brand Manager, OPI UK & Ireland

The Collection
For Spring/Summer 2027, Victoria Beckham explores liberation through movement, drawing on the radical new languages of dance that emerged during the 1920s.
Rejecting the restrictions of classical ballet, a generation of forward-thinking dancers embraced a freer relationship with the body and blurred the boundaries between choreography, painting and other forms of artistic expression. That spirit informs a collection in which complex construction feels effortless in practice.
Long, lean silhouettes move freely around the body, while asymmetric lines, cut-outs and bow constructions reveal and release the form. Sheer georgette dresses are weighted with beaded wave hems, while hand-painted flowers and kissing birds evoke the dialogue between painting and movement.
Extracts from the richly coloured backgrounds of 1920s portraiture appear across fluid crêpe dresses and knitwear, translating the artist’s gesture into clothing designed to move. Clothing becomes a form of freedom—expressive, instinctive and entirely at ease.
The runway manicure mirrored this philosophy through its barely-there elegance. OPI’s sheer nude shades enhanced the models’ natural nails, while the matte finish completed each look without distracting from the artistry of the collection.
