Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in federal prison after being convicted of transporting women across state lines for prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges but found guilty on two counts related to arranging “freak offs.”
Judge Arun Subramanian also imposed a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release. With time already served, Combs is expected to spend about three more years behind bars.

In court, Combs tearfully apologized to his children, former partners, and survivors of abuse, calling his actions “shameful and sick.” Prosecutors, however, argued he showed little genuine remorse and pushed for a stiffer penalty.
The sentencing marks a dramatic fall from grace for the 55-year-old music mogul, who still faces multiple civil lawsuits tied to sexual misconduct allegations.
