Tyla Wins Big at the 2026 AMAs

South African singer Tyla made history last night in the American Music Awards(AMA) held in Las Vegas where she clinched two awards.

She walked into the venue as the most nominated African artist for the AMA night and emerged as the only African act to win in this year’s AMA. One for the Best Afrobeats star of the year claiming the award over fellow stars Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Rema.

She also won the award for the Social Song of the year with her hit “CHANEL”

Winning the Afrobeats Artist of the Year for the second time, once is a moment, but twice? That’s a statement.
