British actor and filmmaker Noel Clarke has been formally charged with six criminal offences following a detailed investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed that the 50-year-old faces charges stemming from allegations made by five women, covering a period between 2007 and 2016. Specifically, the charges include 2 counts of sexual assault, 3 counts of voyeurism and 1 count of exposure.

The Metropolitan Police launched their formal criminal inquiry in September 2025, which led to Clarke's initial arrest later that month. After the police investigations were concluded, a file of evidence was submitted to the prosecutors, who authorized the charges after concluding there was sufficient evidence and that proceeding was in the public interest.

Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, who leads the investigation team, stated that the women connected to the case continue to receive support from specially trained officers. Authorities have also reiterated support resources for anyone affected by sexual misconduct.

Clarke is scheduled to make his first appearance at London’s Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21. In light of the active legal proceedings, the CPS and law enforcement have urged the public and media outlets to exercise caution and avoid online commentary that could risk prejudicing the right to a fair trial.
