It’s my final Editor's note for 2025 and it is only natural to take a lap down memory lane.

When I found the courage to return to Blanck after years of uncertainty, I never imagined how quickly or how deeply things would shift. Six months back into full content creation, the growth has been undeniable, from 3.8k average profile visits in April to 449k in November, alongside viral stories, brand collaborations, and meaningful connections.

For all of this, I am deeply grateful. To the small team behind the scenes, the friends and family, the supporters who share, engage, and refer stories, and the creatives and industry voices who trusted us with their time and stories, thank you.

Running this platform isn’t easy. Some days it bends me. But my why always brings me back. 2025 owes me nothing, every win has been earned through consistency, faith, and showing up even when it was hard.

Blanck exists to further the voices of our people, to tell the stories of our creatives, and to build a table with as many chairs as possible for our brilliance at home and in the Diaspora. There are too many untold stories and not enough platforms.
