Four Men Rushed to Major Trauma Center After Stabbing in Central London’s Covent Garden; Woman Arrested

Four men have been rushed to a major trauma center after being stabbed in a violent afternoon incident in central London’s bustling Covent Garden district.
A 47-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the attack. She has since been remanded in custody.

The Metropolitan Police were alerted to reports of a stabbing on Endell Street, a busy road near Covent Garden, at approximately 12:27 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Upon arriving at the scene alongside emergency services, officers located four men—aged 34, 39, 42, and 52—suffering from stab wounds.
Investigators recovered a pair of scissors at the scene.
Police stated that early indications suggest the stabbing was a mental health-related incident.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) deployed multiple resources to the location, including:
ambulance crews, paramedic in a fast-response car, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
Paramedics assessed and treated all four victims on-site before transporting them urgently to a major trauma center by road. Police have not yet provided an update on the severity of their injuries.
An extensive police cordon remains in place around Endell Street and surrounding areas of Covent Garden while forensic officers examine the area.
