Korty EO is the New Face of Adidas Superstar

Enigmatic filmmaker, storyteller, and internet sensation Korty EO (Eniola Olanrewaju) has officially signed as the new face of the Adidas Superstar.

For a brand built on the heritage of rewriting rules, pairing the classic silhouette with a creator whose bio literally reads "reduce your pride, not your value", is a stroke of marketing genius. Korty isn't just an influencer; she is the definitive voice of the alternative, self-determined Gen Z African creative economy.

Korty has been a fixture in the local Adidas ecosystem for a while—most notably hosting raw, insightful fireside chats on collaboration and creative grit at the Adidas Originals Studio Lagos.

THE ADIDAS SUPERSTAR was originally a 1969 basketball shoe that became an absolute streetwear monopoly via hip-hop legends Run-D.M.C. In the '80s, the Adidas Superstar has always belonged to the subversives. Korty brings that exact same disruptive energy.

This signing marks a massive win for indie filmmaking and alternative culture in Nigeria. Korty built her massive following (Flow with Korty, Love or Lies) entirely on her own terms—refusing to conform to the high-glam expectations of traditional Nigerian celebrity culture.

By putting her in Superstars, Adidas is validating a new kind of African icon: one who wears oversized fits, tells deeply human stories, and values authenticity above all else.
