Kris Jenner has announced the death of her mother, Mary Jo "MJ" Campbell, who has died at the age of 91.

Sharing the news on social media on Thursday, Jenner wrote: "Today, we said goodbye to my beautiful Mommy MJ." No cause of death has been disclosed.
Paying tribute to the woman who became a beloved figure to millions of viewers, Jenner reflected on the values her mother instilled in the family.
"She taught us that family is everything. She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments. She showed me how to face life's challenges with resilience and faith," she wrote.
MJ became a familiar face to audiences through Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which premiered in 2007, and later The Kardashians. Her warm personality and close bond with her daughter and grandchildren made her a fan favourite throughout the family's reality television journey.
Born in 1934, Mary Jo Campbell died just days before what would have been her 92nd birthday on 26 July. The family celebrated her 90th birthday during an episode of The Kardashians, hosting an elegant floral-themed celebration at a hotel in San Diego, California.

Campbell was the mother of Kris Jenner and Karen Houghton. Houghton died in March 2024 at the age of 65 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
She was also the grandmother of Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and was a proud great-grandmother to the next generation of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
Although she rarely sought the spotlight herself, MJ became one of the most cherished members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, remembered for her warmth, grace and enduring devotion to those she loved.
