Presley Gerber, Son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Dies at 27

Presley Gerber, the model and eldest child of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27.

Gerber died on Sunday, September 20, at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles. His cause of death has not yet been determined, with an autopsy pending. His family has asked for privacy as they navigate what is undoubtedly an incredibly difficult time.

Born in California in 1999, Presley was the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber. Like his mother and sister, he entered the fashion industry at a young age, signing with IMG Models as a teenager before making his runway debut for Moschino in 2016.

He went on to work with some of fashion's biggest names, including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana. In 2018, he appeared alongside his mother in Pepsi's Super Bowl commercial, a reimagining of Crawford's now-iconic 1992 campaign.

Beyond modelling, Presley had in recent years become increasingly open about his struggles with addiction and mental health. In 2025, he launched a social media series titled Mental Health Mondays, using his platform to encourage more candid conversations around subjects that are often kept behind closed doors.

His younger sister Kaia had also spoken publicly about her brother's long struggle with addiction and the impact it had on their family.

Presley had continued to speak about his recovery journey, sharing aspects of his experiences with treatment and his efforts to overcome addiction. His willingness to discuss those struggles became an increasingly significant part of his public life, with the model hoping his experiences could help others facing similar battles.

Presley is survived by his parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and his younger sister, Kaia.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation, and an official cause of death has not yet been announced.
